Run Logic Events Calendar May – June 2015
1. Tuesday 19 May – Stretching for Runners night. 6:15 pm at Run Logic
This Free night is part of the Summer Sessions, with a short introduction to stretching for Runners by sports trainer Barbara Kruta. The evening will cover some of the best stretches for runners and take everyone through the fundamentals. Per-run stretches and post-run stretches included.
We will also do a short run after the Intro session for about 30 minutes.
2. Wednesday 27 May – Learn about Gel’s night. 6:15 pm at Run Logic
Ever used Gels to fuel your run? Interested or want to learn more?
This introduction to Gel’s evening will look at the types of gels available on the market, how to take them and when to take them. The main sponsor of the evening is High-5, the official Rock ‘N’ Roll partner.
We will also do a short run after the session for about 30 minutes.
3. Wednesday 3 June – Long Run night. 6:15 pm at Run Logic.
We are heading into Phoenix Park for a 10km run, taking in some of the course and then returning to the shop. The pace will be ‘relaxed’ and easy. Everyone that comes along on the night gets the chance to win gear !
4. Wednesday 10 June – Learn about GPS watches night by Timex.
We will have several GPS watches available to test on this night for those who don’t have a GPS. The evening will begin with some of the basics of using your GPS watch – i.e. how to get the fastest reception, how to update the software and using your GPS to predict your race times. We will also do a short run after the Intro session for about 30 minutes.
