Mick Clohisey is one of Irelands best distance runners, and will be hosting this event every Wednesday over 6 weeks.
 
As part of the leadup to Rock N Roll Half Marathon in August Mick Clohisey and Run Logic will be taking groups on training sessions over 6 weeks.
 
Cost: €50 Early Bird Discount sign up and pay before April 12. €70 after April 12 – April 19.
 
Register: Payable at the store, or by website. *limited to 12 people total.
 
What you get: 6 – Weeks / training with Mick Clohisey as per schedule.
 
Upon completing the clinic: you get the chance to followup with Mick for any training enquiries.
 
Week 1/ April 19th:
Venue: Runlogic
Topic: introduction, setting up a training plan to suit you.
Training – light run to Phoenix park to grass to perform dynamic warm up/ strides routine ( used before interval sessions & race day) followed by easy run return to Runlogic
 
Week 2/ April 26th:
Topic: Getting ready for raceday ( pre race routine etc)
Venue: Phoenix Park
Start of the Race – morning preparation/eating/startline etiquette
training – Grass interval session
 
Week 3 / May 3rd :
Topic: Elements of training – key workouts ( intervals , hills , tempo runs etc) / Q&As
Venue: Runlogic
Training plans / Q & As – light run from shop
 
Week 4/ May 10th:
Topic: The race – performing to your best.
Venue: Phoenix Park ( magazine fort)
Hill session kyber hill
 
Week 5/ May 17th:
Topic: Mental preparation & diet
Venue: Phoenix park (15 acres cycle path)
Threshold ( half marathon ) pace session
 
Week 6/ May 24th:
Topic: Final tips ( keep on running ! )
Venue: Runlogic
Training – run easy to Phoenix park for short session & return to shop for final tips and refreshments etc
